How long does approval take?

Quick answer
After the shop submits your application, Majibu's credit team reviews it, usually while you wait at the shop. If it takes long, the shop can message support with the sale reference. You pay nothing before the application is approved.
What to do
- The shop submits your application. The Majibu Sales App shows Under review.
- The credit team checks it and approves or rejects it.
- When it is approved, you pay the deposit and the shop continues the sale.
Good to know
- You pay the deposit only after approval, and only to Majibu's merchant code.
- The shop can leave the waiting screen. The sale stays saved in the app.
Contact support if
- the application has been under review for a long time and nobody has answered
Have this ready
- the shop name
- the sale reference shown in the Majibu Sales App
- your full name
Never send your Mobile Money PIN. Majibu staff never ask for it.
