What happens when I finish paying

Quick answer
Your loan is marked paid off and the phone stays yours to keep, fully released from the Majibu lock. You will see Paid off on the Home tab of the Majibu app. If the phone still locks after your last payment, message support.
What to do
- Make your last payment.
- Keep mobile data on so the phone gets the update.
- Check that Home in the Majibu app shows Paid off.
Good to know
- You can pay the rest early: see Pay off early or change the loan length.
Contact support if
- the app does not show Paid off a day after your last payment
- the phone still locks after your last payment
Have this ready
- the phone number on your loan
- the date, amount and transaction ID of your last payment
Never send your Mobile Money PIN. Majibu staff never ask for it.
