Quick answer
Open pay.majibuafrica.com and tap Get your codes on WhatsApp. Type the phone number registered on your loan and tap Send me my code. If that number has a Majibu loan, a WhatsApp message with your pay code and pay link arrives within a minute or two.
Steps
- Open pay.majibuafrica.com and tap Get your codes on WhatsApp (under "Don't have a code?").
- Type the phone number registered on your loan, like 07XX XXX XXX, and tap Send me my code.
- Open WhatsApp on that phone. A message from Majibu Africa lists your loan with its pay code and a pay link. It can take a minute to arrive.
- Tap the pay link in the message, or type the code on pay.majibuafrica.com. Then follow Pay online with your pay code.
Good to know
- For your safety the page never says whether a number has a loan. If nothing arrives, the number you typed may not be the one on your loan.
- You can ask for your code at most twice a day for the same number.
- A number that is registered for more than one customer cannot get codes this way. Ask support.
- Each loan has its own pay code. If you have two loans, you get a message for each.
- Someone who pays for you needs only your pay code or pay link. Never give anyone your PIN.
Contact support if
- nothing arrives after 10 minutes and you are sure it is the number on your loan
- you changed your phone number since you bought the phone
- the message shows a loan that is not yours
Have this ready
- the phone number registered on your loan
- your full name as on your contract
- the shop where you bought the phone
Never send your Mobile Money PIN. Majibu staff never ask for it.
