Never share your Mobile Money PIN with anyone; Majibu never asks for it. To pay, open the Majibu app, tap Pay now and type your PIN only into the MTN or Airtel prompt on your own phone. Shared it already? Change it with MTN or Airtel.
What to do
- Type your PIN only into the MTN or Airtel prompt on the phone that pays.
- Approve only prompts you started yourself, for the amount you chose.
- If you shared your PIN, change it now in your MTN or Airtel menu.
Good to know
- A seller never needs your PIN. You type it yourself.
- Majibu cannot pay for you, even with your PIN.
Contact support if
- someone asked for your PIN or for a code from an SMS
- a prompt arrived that you did not start and you approved it

- a screenshot of the message
- the number that contacted you
- the time it happened
