Quick answer

Majibu never asks for your PIN, never offers to remove the lock or change the IMEI, and never asks you to pay to a personal number. Pay only in the Majibu app or at pay.majibuafrica.com. If something feels wrong, do not pay; send support a screenshot.

What to do

  1. Check the link address. Majibu help links start with support.majibuafrica.com and payment links with pay.majibuafrica.com.
  2. Check where the money goes: the pay page, the Majibu app or the merchant codes 590199 (MTN) and 4365207 (Airtel) only.
  3. Do not pay and do not share anything.
  4. Send support a screenshot.

Good to know

  • Anyone who offers to remove the Majibu lock or change the IMEI for money is not from Majibu.
  • Majibu staff never ask for a code from an SMS.
